The Angola Rotary Club Scholarship was established in 2015 to support students or alumni from any Steuben County High School pursue a secondary education. The Club's goal is to help a student with an average GPA needing financial assistance. Preference is given to students with a relationship to Rotary. The Steuben County Community Foundation administers this scholarship.
Applicant must be a graduating senior or alumnus of any Steuben County high school, including nontraditional and homeschool students, attending college or university full-time. High school GPA should be between 2.5-3.5 (4.0 scale). Past awardees may reapply with a 2.75+ college GPA.
In October of 2007, Cheryl Anstett, a retired public school teacher, created this scholarship to help students who have been out of school more than one year and are interested in continuing their education. This scholarship gives non-traditional students an opportunity to apply for assistance. The Steuben County Community Foundation administers this scholarship.
Applicant must be a graduate of one of the four Steuben County high schools or a non-traditional student (homeschool or GED holder from Steuben County) who has been out of school for one or more years. Must attend an Indiana institution (trade, technical, two-year, or four-year).
The Cleon and Pauline B. Throop Scholarship Fund was created to support a Steuben County resident pursuing a post-secondary education outside of Steuben County. The Steuben County Community Foundation administers this scholarship.
Applicant must be a Steuben County resident attending college/university outside the county, a graduating high school senior or nontraditional student returning to school, with a GPA of 2.5-3.5.
