The goal of the Goldstein Family Scholarship Program is to help female survivors of domestic violence improve their self-sufficiency and quality of life by completing higher education. Teach Dual Credit Indiana is a program to ensure that Indiana high school teachers are equipped and qualified to teach dual credit courses. Indiana Special Education Assisted Licensure (I-SEAL) is available to fund post-baccalaureate programs of study that will enable teachers to become fully licensed to teach special education for a public school in Indiana. The primary license focus is adding Exceptional Children: Mild Intervention certification to an existing license, while remaining employed with your existing school district and eligibility to be a Teacher of Record.
There are three universities currently participating in I-SEAL and are providing the 18 credit hours of study to choose from. They all provide the appropriate, approved classes that are 100% online and support for taking the Praxis test at the end as well as support in getting through the licensing process.
The cost of textbooks is provided in addition to the tuition costs – all paid directly to the university upon completion of each course.
To be eligible, a teacher must:

The Transition to Teaching Scholarship provides students interested in pursuing a career in education the opportunity to earn a one-time, non-renewable scholarship of up to $10,000. In exchange, students agree to teach for five years at an eligible Indiana school or repay the corresponding, prorated amount of the scholarship.
- The $10,000 is for the Transition to Teaching Program and initial practitioner licensure costs (as defined in IC 21-12-16-8.5).
- If the Transition to Teaching Program costs less than $10,000, the Transition to Teaching Scholarship will cover the cost of the Program, plus $37.50, which is the total cost for the initial practitioner licensure.
- The Transition to Teaching Scholarship is a need-based award. You must be a member of a household with an annual income of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) or less to be considered eligible.
To qualify, a student must:
- possess a baccalaureate degree from an accredited postsecondary four (4) year institution;
- have enrolled in a Transition to Teaching program described in IC 20-28-4;
- be employed or volunteer at a K-12 school in the state of Indiana;
- agree in writing to:
- complete a Transition to Teaching program described in IC 20-28-4 and obtain an initial practitioner license under IC 20-28; and
- teach for at least five (5) years in a public school or an eligible school (as defined in IC 20-51-1-4.7) in Indiana after obtaining the initial practitioner license under IC 20-28-4-6;
- be a member of a household with an annual income of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) or less; and
- meet any other criteria established by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education.

The Alfred R. and Joyce E. Gutstein Nursing Scholarship was established as a memorial to him by his wife Joyce. Alfred was a prominent attorney in Angola where he practiced for over 50 years. The family of Diana Kay Smith established this scholarship in celebration of her life and as a living memorial. Diana was born in June 1954 and passed away in May 1969 of leukemia.
