The Indiana Electric Cooperatives Managers’ Association Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship given to ten outstanding students each year. The purpose of this scholarship is to help further the education of the sons and daughters of Indiana electric co-op directors and employees, and to give them the chance to be more aware about energy industry careers.
To be eligible for this scholarship, the following provisions will govern the acceptance of applicants from the local cooperatives:

Ataya Kaser was just 14 years old when her life was tragically cut short in a car accident on October 7, 2018. Ataya had a passion for helping others and had planned to volunteer with Safe Haven Baby Boxes. Write a letter to a legislator advocating for legislation to be amended to allow for Safe Haven Baby Boxes. Use your voice to explain the impact of having baby boxes in communities to protect vulnerable women and their infants.
Your letter can be generic allowing it to be used in any state that Safe Haven Baby Boxes is seeking to amend the current safe haven law. Even if your letter is not selected as the scholarship recipient Safe Haven Baby Boxes reserves the right to use your submission for advocacy efforts.
Stories of infant abandonment are encouraged to be featured highlighting the dangerous reality when mothers clearly do not want to be identified.

The Mitch Daniels Early Graduation Scholarship is a one-time $4,000 scholarship for students who graduate from a publicly supported high school at least one year early. The goal of the Goldstein Family Scholarship Program is to help female survivors of domestic violence improve their self-sufficiency and quality of life by completing higher education. The scholarship fund provides financial support for tuition, books, rent, utilities, and childcare. Support is provided based on the applicant's financial need after using all other available community resources. Scholarship recipients also receive case management services from YWCA's Empowerment Advocate to assist them through their academic journey. Financial support & case management services are provided to scholarship recipients for up to 4 years. Teach Dual Credit Indiana is a program to ensure that Indiana high school teachers are equipped and qualified to teach dual credit courses. Indiana Special Education Assisted Licensure (I-SEAL) is available to fund post-baccalaureate programs of study that will enable teachers to become fully licensed to teach special education for a public school in Indiana. The primary license focus is adding Exceptional Children: Mild Intervention certification to an existing license, while remaining employed with your existing school district and eligibility to be a Teacher of Record.
There are three universities currently participating in I-SEAL and are providing the 18 credit hours of study to choose from. They all provide the appropriate, approved classes that are 100% online and support for taking the Praxis test at the end as well as support in getting through the licensing process.
The cost of textbooks is provided in addition to the tuition costs – all paid directly to the university upon completion of each course.
To be eligible, a teacher must:

Established in May 2017 by family and friends. Lucas graduated from Garrett High School and after graduation he attended diving school in Charleston, South Carolina, to become a commercial diver. Luke was fun-loving and never turned down a challenge. He was adventurous and lived life to the fullest. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of DeKalb County. Jon was raised in rural Butler. He was an active member of 4-H and played basketball, and participated on the track team while at Eastside. After high school, Jon became an engineer for Norfolk and Southern Railroad. Jon was exceptionally creative and had a love for art and music. His family says, “he was as kind-hearted as he was tall (6’10”).” This scholarship was started in his memory to support students pursuing a vocational or technical degree.
