3Rivers is committed to supporting education and wants to help students in our region succeed. This year, they're giving away $50,000 in scholarships to deserving 3Rivers members!

The Scholarship Contest is open to students who:

  • are or will be accepted at and/or enrolled in a full-time program at an accredited college, university, trade school, or graduate school for the 2026-2027 school year;
  • have a current cumulative GPA of 2.75 (or equivalent) or higher;
  • and are current 3Rivers Credit Union members. Apply online today!

—Dependent and independent undergraduate, graduate, foreign exchange, and returning adult students ARE eligible to apply, so long as they meet the requirements above. This includes high school seniors entering their first year of college in the fall.

ACCF Dr. H.S. ‘Terry’ Lee and Family Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship opportunity is in loving memory of Dr. ‘Terry’ Lee (July 21, 1940 – August 7, 2014). Dr. Hyung Soo ‘Terry’ Lee finished medical school in South Korea and then came to the United States for additional training. Applicants will show how their lives represents the commitment and dedication as exemplified by Dr. Terry Lee. Priority is given, but not limited to: Applicants show a connection to the Adams Health Network (employee or employee’s spouse/child/dependent). Scholarships may be awarded to students seeking to further their education at an accredited institution for a two-year, four-year or advance-degree in the health-care field. This is to include, but not limited to, Medical School, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Technical School, to include Medical Coding, Hospital Administrative positions, etc.

Circle City Classic Scholarships

Indiana Black Expo, Inc. is committed to assisting Indiana students in their pursuit of higher education. Scholarships will be awarded to current high school seniors and students currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution who exhibit outstanding leadership, scholarship, and community service. Over $5 million has been awarded to students since 1984.

Emphasis will be placed on financial need and first generation students. Each applicant will be evaluated based on the application information provided and recipients will be selected by a review committee. The scholarships are funded by proceeds from the Circle City Classic® Football Game and are payable upon recipient’s full-time enrollment in a post-secondary institution.

INvestEd Scholarship Giveaway

INvestEd is offering participants a chance to win one of five (5) $1,000 cash scholarships. The Giveaway is open to any legal resident of the State of Indiana who, at the time of entry, is at least 16 years of age or older and is either (1) a student enrolled in a Title IV eligible, accredited post-secondary educational institution with at least one semester remaining after May 31, 2024; (2) a high school student who is planning to enroll in a Qualifying Institution within two years from May 31, 2024, or (3) a parent or legal guardian of a student who is either enrolled or planning to enroll in a Qualifying Institution within two years from May 31, 2024.

21st Century Scholars Program

Indiana’s 21st Century Scholars program provides up to four years of undergraduate tuition to income-eligible students at participating colleges or universities in Indiana, as well as step-by-step guidance and support to make sure they succeed in college and receive support to finish their degree.

After the passage of House Enrolled Act (HEA) 1449-2023, current 7th- and 8th-grade Hoosier students who are financially eligible for Free and Reduced Price Lunch will be automatically enrolled in the 21st Century Scholars Program. However, if your student does not receive Free and Reduced Price Lunch, but meets the income guidelines, you can enroll them from the time they enter 7th grade to June 30 of their 8th-grade year.

Kids' Chance of Indiana Scholarship

Kids’ Chance of Indiana is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides scholarships for children of workers that have been killed or seriously injured in a compensable work-related accident or occupational disease. Scholarships are awarded once a year and students may apply every year for which they are eligible. Annual scholarships are determined based on the student’s financial need. The number and amount of scholarships awarded by Kids’ Chance of Indiana each year is dependent upon the number and eligibility of students who apply and the available funds.

Women & Hi Tech Leading Light Awards

Women & Hi Tech exists to change the landscape of women represented in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and related Hi Tech fields to be equally inclusive to all. In support of this mission, at the 2026 Leading Light Awards and Scholarship Gala (LLA), Women & Hi Tech will award at least $50,000 in scholarships and grants to women in STEM in Indiana. They invite all passionate women, including diverse women, pursuing undergraduate or graduate STEM degrees in Indiana – and who intend to stay in Indiana upon graduation – to apply for scholarships.

Ataya Kaser Memorial Scholarship

Ataya Kaser was just 14 years old when her life was tragically cut short in a car accident on October 7, 2018. Ataya had a passion for helping others and had planned to volunteer with Safe Haven Baby Boxes. To honor her memory and carry forward her dreams, Safe Haven Baby Boxes established the Ataya Kaser Scholarship Fund. Each year, students in their senior year of high school and college students are eligible to apply for her scholarship that educates the public on the Safe Haven Law in some capacity.

The task:

Write a letter to a legislator advocating for legislation to be amended to allow for Safe Haven Baby Boxes. Use your voice to explain the impact of having baby boxes in communities to protect vulnerable women and their infants. 

Your letter can be generic allowing it to be used in any state that Safe Haven Baby Boxes is seeking to amend the current safe haven law. Even if your letter is not selected as the scholarship recipient Safe Haven Baby Boxes reserves the right to use your submission for advocacy efforts. 

Stories of infant abandonment are encouraged to be featured highlighting the dangerous reality when mothers clearly do not want to be identified. 

All applications must be submitted by July 15 to be considered for the scholarship.

Indiana Education and Training Voucher (ETV) Program

The Indiana Education and Training Voucher (ETV) Program is a federally-funded, state-administered program that provides financial, academic, and human support for young adults who’ve left the foster care system and are enrolled in qualified colleges, universities or vocational education programs. Money can be used for tuition, housing, textbooks, tutoring, childcare, or transportation. Students must apply before their 21st birthday.

Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship - Huntington County

The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program will provide scholarships for otherwise unreimbursed full tuition, required fees, and a special allocation of up to $900 per year for required books and required equipment for four years of undergraduate study on a full-time basis leading to a baccalaureate degree at any Indiana public or private nonprofit college or university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Applicants must be a resident of Huntington County who will receive their high school diploma from an accredited Indiana high school by June 30, 2025.

Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship - Steuben County

The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship program provides scholarships for full tuition, required fees, and a book stipend for four years of undergraduate study on a full-time basis, leading to a baccalaureate degree at an accredited public or private nonprofit college or university in Indiana. Applicants must be a resident of Steuben County and be a graduating senior from a Steuben County high school.

William A. Crawford Minority Teacher Scholarship

The Indiana Commission for Higher Education offers scholarships for minority students (defined as Black and Hispanic/Latinx individuals) planning to teach in an accredited school in Indiana upon graduation. Student must agree in writing to apply for a teaching positions in Indiana and, if hired, teach in Indiana for at least three years.

Mitch Daniels Early Graduation Scholarship

The Mitch Daniels Early Graduation Scholarship is a one-time $4,000 scholarship for students who graduate from a publicly supported high school at least one year early. The scholarship may be used toward tuition and fees and any remaining funds shall be remitted to the student. This scholarship may not be used for remedial course work.

Program Requirements:

  • Must be an Indiana resident and a U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen
    • Applicants must have had legal settlement (as defined by IC 20-18- 2-11) in Indiana for at least the last two semesters prior to graduating from high school.

  • Must have attended a publicly supported high school on a full-time equivalency basis for at least the last two semesters before the student graduated.
  • Must have been awarded a minimum of a Core 40 high school diploma by the end of grade 11, including any summer course work completed by July 1 of the year of graduation.
  • Must not have been enrolled in a publicly supported high school for any part of a fourth year (grade 12).
  • Must enroll as a full-time, degree-seeking student at an eligible institution not later than the fall semester (or its equivalent, as determined by the Commission) in the academic year immediately following the year in which the student graduates from high school.
  • Must meet any other minimum criteria established by the Commission.

Maxwell Scholarship for Women in Computing and Engineering

This $2,500 scholarship is awarded in support of a woman pursuing higher education in a computing or engineering program.

The scholarship is open to any Indiana residents who identify as female. Applicants must be accepted into or actively enrolled in any post-secondary program related to computing or engineering. Examples include: computer science, cybersecurity, data science, information technology, an engineering degree program, or related computing & engineering fields.

Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship - DeKalb County

Wells County Community Foundation

The Wells County Community Foundation administers 60 scholarship funds as well as the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program. These scholarships are funded by donors who believe in the youth of Wells County and want to support their pursuit of higher education.
