CICF Steve Sallee Scholarship

Other Criteria: Applicants must plan to pursue a B.S., B.A., or master’s degree in secondary education, demonstrate academic promise, meet the required grade point average for admission to the program and demonstrate financial need.

Preference is given to individuals making a career change into the teaching profession (i.e. college graduates pursuing a certification through an alternative licensure program).

SME Education Foundation Scholarships

The SME (Society of Manufacturing Engineers) Education Foundation supports the next generation of manufacturing and engineering talent by awarding scholarships to high school seniors, undergraduates and graduate students with degrees in manufacturing or engineering every year.

Minimum Criteria:

  • Must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States or Canada , or have
    a U.S. or Canadian student visa.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Must be pursuing associates, bachelors, or graduate degree in manufacturing,
    engineering, or related field.
  • Open to high school seniors or current college students.
  • Students can be part time or full time to be eligible.
  • Must be attending a University or Community College in the United States or Canada.

Awardees can use scholarship funds for tuition, books, or lab and course fees.

IU Cox Research Scholarship

The Cox Research Scholarship is a need-based scholarship program for Indiana residents of exemplary achievement and scholarly curiosity. The program pairs high-achieving, hard-working students according to their interests with an IU faculty member who is willing to take on an inexperienced first-year scholar to teach the skills and tools required to conduct meaningful scholarly inquiry or creative activity. All Cox Research Scholars are invited to join the Hutton Honors College.

To be eligible for a Cox Research Scholarship, you must:

CICF Gerry & Sherry Fortner Education Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Gerry and Sherry Fortner, who met as grade school teachers in Carmel and Noblesville and later married. After retirement, the Fortners established this scholarship fund to support Hamilton County students planning to pursue a degree in education. Sherry passed away in 2008, but the Fortners’ passion for education lives on through this scholarship. Students at any public high school in Hamilton County, with a preference for Hamilton Heights, Noblesville, Sheridan and Westfield High School students.

CICF Joe Booker Endowed Scholarship for Limited Government & Judeo-Christian Values

Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship

Key dates & amount $10,000 each year for four academic years Closed 2/28/26
The Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship provides 200 high-achieving high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in education the opportunity to earn a renewable scholarship of up to $10,000 each year for four academic years. In exchange, students agree to teach for five years at an eligible Indiana school or repay the corresponding, prorated amount of the scholarship.

CFHC Huntington Business Women’s Scholarship
