This scholarship is intended for a graduating Bluffton High School senior having attended at least one full year at Bluffton-Harrison Elementary School, with a minimum C average,and good citizenship. Scholarship may be utilized at any accredited public or private postsecondary institution.

WCCF Emily J. Butler Memorial Scholarship for the Arts

WCCF Christian Care Retirement Community Scholarship

This scholarship is intended for Wells County residents who are graduating seniors of Bluffton High School, Kingdom Academy, Norwell High School, or Southern Wells High School entering one of the following fields of study: medical, food preparation (dietetics, culinary arts), recreational therapy (occupational or physical), or social services, with a minimum 3.0 GPA planning to enter a 2-year trade/technical training program or 4-year academic college program.

Preference may be given to the following: Individuals who have expressed interest in pursuing a career relating to services for the elderly; and current employees of Christian Care Retirement Community.

WCCF Jill Dreyer Memorial Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship is intended for a Wells County resident or individuals employed at a healthcare facility within Wells County. Applicants must be accepted into an accredited RN program (2-4 year) and submit a letter from admissions verifying acceptance into the nursing program. Additionally, if applicable, submit a statement from the advisor regarding the number of credit hours completed.

George G., Elma B., Ruth M. Wimmer Scholarship

PNC Bank Trustee of George G., Elma B., Ruth M. Wimmer Scholarship Fund has established a scholarship program to assist high school seniors attending Huntington North High School, Northside High School, Northrop High School, R. Nelson Snider High School, Southside High School, Wayne High School, or Allen County Juvenile Center in Indiana who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs.

Eligible applicants must be pursuing a degree in one of the following fields of study:

  • Medical (Pre-Medicine)
  • Nursing
  • Sciences*
  • Occupational therapy
  • Engineering – only if related to the fields of science, medicine or nursing
  • Computer science
  • Actuarial science

*Sciences will be reviewed by the committee for eligibility.

  • Plan to enroll in fulltime undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

LGBTQ+ Alumni Association Scholarship - For IU Bloomington Students

To meet that need, the LGBTQ+ Alumni Association has launched the LGBTQ+ Alumni Association Scholarship Campaign. This campaign will dramatically change the lives of students across IU by offering expanded scholarship opportunities and programs. These scholarships help cultivate a new generation of leaders who are active in promoting resilience, understanding, achievement, and belonging for all. To apply for an academic scholarship, complete the IU Scholarship Application in your One.IU account. Application is open from October 1–March 10 for the following academic year.

Paul E. Sagstetter and Madelyn E. Sagstetter Foundation Scholarship

Applicants Must:

  • Be graduates of a Catholic High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
  • Plan to attend full-time an accredited public or private, two-year or four-year college or university located in the United States.

    Additional Desired Qualifications:

  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on 4.0 scale.

ACEC (American Council of Engineering Companies) Indiana Scholarship

ACEC Indiana recognizes the importance of attracting talented college students to consulting engineering. ACEC Indiana's Associate Members organize an annual golf outing raising monies to provide exceptional scholarships to exceptional students. Students must be entering their junior, senior, fifth, or master’s degree year to qualify for the general scholarships. In addition, a student must be a full-time Indiana resident pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil, environmental, mechanical/electrical or structural engineering or in an accredited land-surveying program at engineering or in an accredited land-surveying program at an ABET-accredited school in Indiana to qualify.

Mediacom World Class Scholarship

Through the World Class program, Mediacom awards $1,000 scholarships to winning applicants. Graduating high school seniors who live in the areas served by Mediacom are eligible. Scholarship awardees may attend any accredited two-year or four-year college, university, technical or vocational school within the United States.

Parkview LaGrange Hospital Scholarship

The Parkview LaGrange Hospital Scholarship was established upon the recommendation of hospital volunteers as a way to give back to the community with the funds raised from the hospital’s gift shop and Parkview Health Foundation donors. The yearly scholarship is available to LaGrange County residents seeking a degree or licensure in a health-related field. Three high school senior scholarships are available as well as one adult scholarship.

Karen Denney Nursing Scholarship

Karen Denney was a caring and compassionate nurse, who dedicated her 35-year career to patients at McCray Hospital and Parkview Noble Hospital. During her career, Karen was the manager of the OB department for over 25 years, an infection control and employee health nurse, and worked in several other departments. She was an inspiration to many who worked with her, demonstrating an uncommon love for nursing and the patients she treated.

The Karen Denney Nursing Scholarship is open to high school seniors who are currently participating in the Health Occupations Education program at Parkview Noble and Parkview LaGrange Hospitals.

Via Credit Union Scholarships

Via Credit Union understands the importance of education, which is why they offer six $1,000 Scholarship to High School Seniors who have been a member of ViaCU for at least one year by application deadline and have a cumulative High School GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

The Wanderers Trade School Scholarship

Key dates & amount $1,500 Closing 3/15/26

The Wanderers were formed in early 2016, with the sole purpose of giving fellow motorcycle enthusiasts a place to come together, meet and pool their resources to help people and organizations in the community. They are focusing their efforts on a scholarship fund, to help provide an opportunity for an average student to pursue higher education.

To receive a scholarship provided through The Wanderers Trade School Scholarship fund, an applicant must:

  1. Be a citizen of the United States and a resident of Indiana, Illinois or Kentucky.
  2. Be graduating from or have graduated from High School or have a GED.
  3. Be admitted to or enrolled in an accredited college or trade school/program. You may be asked to
    provide a copy of the acceptance letter or class schedule if you are a finalist.
  4. Plan to attend a college or trade school/program
  5. Demonstrate in an essay of 500 words or less how this scholarship will benefit the applicant and his/her
    future educational plans.
  6. Include a letter of recommendation from a high school/college instructor, counselor, or administrator.
  7. All required documentation must be included at the time of submission of application.
