The Fordeck-Kemerly Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Scholarship is awarded to East Noble High school seniors or prior recipients of the scholarship applying to or accepted at a 4-year college or university to study electrical or mechanical engineering. Applicants must have between a 2.50 – 3.50 GPA with preference going to the higher GPA and maintain a 2.50 – 3.50 GPA if you are a previous winner reapplying for the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of college. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

The Bob and Joyce Friesner Memorial Scholarship is awarded to West Noble High School seniors attending a 4-year accredited college or university as a full-time student with a GPA range 3.00 to 3.80 with preference given to students entering teaching, medical, health science, nursing, school counseling, and/or social work. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

The Jack R. and Maxine C. Frymier Scholars Award is awarded to Central Noble High School seniors having at least a 3.20 grade point average and evidence of community involvement and pursuing a career in the field of education. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

The Dr. Richard R. (MD) and Theresa M. Gutstein Memorial Scholarship is awarded to East Noble High school seniors or graduates entering in the nursing field for a degree. Students should rank in the upper 1/3 of their class to apply. Students in good standing in college who previously won may reapply. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

The Joseph A. and Lolita J. Hornett Memorial Scholarship is awarded to East Noble High School seniors or graduates entering a program leading to a bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution as a freshman or entering the University of Notre Dame as a freshman pursuing a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Must have maintained a grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale in high school. Pays $1,000 one-time at completion of first semester. Requires letter written on first year of college experience due to the CFNC by June 1. FOR TUITION ONLY. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

The Alan Hutsell Scholarship is awarded to West Noble High School seniors pursuing advanced education in emergency services involving fire, police, criminal justice and/or EMS. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

The Tony and Gertrude Kichler Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors or college students who reside in Green or Noble TOWNSHIPS (not county) in Noble County who are pursuing a college education in music, medicine or religion. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

The Pauline (McClish) Leaman Scholarship is awarded to West Noble High school seniors entering a four-year college program to pursue a career in education (teaching), with preference in math. Must have a high school grade point average of 2.00 or above. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

The Timothy J. Martin Memorial Scholarship is awarded to West Noble High school seniors who will pursue a post-secondary degree in education. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

The Benjamin H. Murray Memorial Scholarship is awarded to East Noble High School seniors who will be pursuing a post-secondary degree. Applicants must have a 2.50 to 3.00 cumulative GPA at the time of application with preference going to a Rome City student and/or has had involvement with East Noble High School archery, basketball or football (manager, trainer or player) in this order. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

A $1,000 one-time payment awarded to the top 3 high school seniors who live in Noble County currently enrolled in Central Noble, Churubusco, East Noble, and West Noble who has shown strong community involvement, has been active in various volunteer committees, and has participated in any school-sponsored sports all four years of high school. Preference to top 3 students closest to 3.55 GPA.

The Chuck Schlemmer Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a West Noble High School senior attending a 4-year public college or university with a high school GPA of 3.00 to 3.85. Preference will be given in the following order to students pursuing the field of study of social studies or those completing at least one season of cross country or track. Essay question required on application: “Explain how, through endurance, you were able to work through something that was difficult for you as a student or athlete, or how you were able to overcome a personal hardship to achieve a goal you set for yourself.” This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

The Fred and Mildred Seymoure (Young) Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a Central Noble High School senior or graduate or a person living in the Albion area pursuing a BS or MS education degree (teaching elementary or high school). This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

The Cecil C. and Bettie I. Smith Scholarship is awarded to an East Noble High School senior who is in the top 25% of their class. Student must be pursuing a Teaching Degree. Award amount will be $3,000 each year for four years. Student must continue to pursue an education major (and not change) and maintain a 3.00 GPA while in college and submit required paperwork to the CFNC. Interview required. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

The Dave Smith Memorial Scholarship is awarded to an East Noble High School senior pursuing a four-year degree, with a GPA of 2.50 – 3.50, who lettered in a varsity sport. Preference will be given to students with community service and volunteer activities. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

The Russell Smith Music Scholarship is awarded to a West Noble High School senior pursuing advanced musical education. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

For an East Noble High School senior who is pursuing a four-year degree in the fall. The ENHS student must have participated in show choir and/or theatre for at least 2 years during high school at East Noble. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. Preference given to a student majoring in performing arts. FOR TUITON ONLY.  Awards $2,000.

The Max Sneary, M.D. Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a high school senior from Noble County to pursue a career in the medical field, with preference given to East Noble applicants. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

The Carol Ann Tieman Scholarship is awarded to a Central Noble High School senior who will attend a four-year college or university in Indiana to become a teacher. Preference will be given to those who intend to study elementary education and teach at the elementary school level. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.

The Captain James M. Treesh Scholarship is awarded to an East Noble High School senior or graduate who is pursuing any degree or certificate from any post high school college, university, trade or technical school. Applicant should have at least a 2.50 to 3.50 GPA, with preference to the student closest to a 3.00 GPA. Consideration given for previous military service or planned attendance at a military academy. Applicant may reapply during his/her college career. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Noble County.
