KCCF Donny R. Craw Memorial Scholarship

This fund was established by Alice Lykins in memory of her nephew, Don Craw. Don taught Spanish in the Tippecanoe Valley school system. Scholarship awards benefit students from Tippecanoe Valley.

Initial gifts to this scholarship fund were given by DePuy employees and friends in memory of longtime DePuy employee, Trudy Bradford. Income from this fund helps the children or step-children of DePuy employees reach their educational dreams.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:

  • Graduate of an accredited high school serving Indiana residents
  • GPA: 2.9 or higher on a 4-point scale (or its equivalent)
  • Child (step included) of a DePuy Employee*

Reviewers will consider the following when selecting a recipient:

  • Demonstrated work ethic
  • Participation in community service through church, service or youth group

*Applicants will be asked to provide the name of the DePuy employee for verification.

KCCF The Megan Easterday – Harrison Elementary Scholarship

This fund was established by Larry and Anne Easterday in memory of their daughter, Megan. Many community members helped fund the endowment, which provides scholarships to qualified graduating seniors who attended Harrison Elementary School.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:

  • Attended Harrison Elementary School
  • GPA: 2.9 or higher on a 4-point scale (or its equivalent)

KCCF William E. Farrar Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship fund was created by family and friends of William Farrar in his memory. Mr. Farrar served as a principal in the Warsaw school system. His love of learning will live on through this fund in his name.

  • Attended Madison Elementary School for at least 3 years

Reviewers will consider the following when selecting a recipient:

KCCF Ralph and Lucetta Frantz Scholarship

Ralph and Lucetta Frantz were a brother and sister who grew up on a farm south of Warsaw. They were both very community minded, serving as volunteers with the American Red Cross, Kosciusko County Historical Society and the Lakeland Community Concert Association. Lucetta taught Sunday School at the Walnut Creek United Methodist Church for 68 years. This fund provides scholarship assistance to Kosciusko County students pursuing higher education.

KCCF Chauncey L. Griffith Educational Fund

This fund was established by Helen Griffith through her will in memory of her father, Chauncey, to provide scholarships to area students. Helen was born in 1905. She graduated college with a degree in Civil Engineering and was employed by the U.S. government as an architect for the Panama Canal Zone. She retired to North Webster. Helen established this fund to honor her father and the values she learned from him - including the importance of a college education.
