Ag Plus believes that students expressing leadership abilities and an interest in agriculture are needed to fill various positions in the agricultural industry. The scholarship program Ag Plus is offering is their way of encouraging students to pursue their dreams of studying and working in a career in agriculture or related fields.
The scholarship program is available to any student meeting the following criteria:
The scholarship, funded anonymously to honor Carl Repp, is awarded to Huntington North graduates planning to attend Huntington University or current full-time Huntington University students. Carl Repp and his family ran grocery stores in Huntington when there used to be locally owned grocery stores throughout the town in varying neighborhoods. He also gave generously to non-profits and was a long-term Huntington resident. The Community Foundation of Huntington County administers this scholarship.
Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll full-time, demonstrate financial need, and have a GPA greater than 3.0.
In 2018, Dr. John Regan established the Delene Anne Regan Valedictorian Scholarship to honor the pursuit of academic excellence and the memory of Delene Anne Regan, valedictorian of the Huntington High School Class of 1953. She graduated from the IU School of Business with high honors and was a Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority member. Regan lost her 16-year battle with breast cancer in June 2016. The Community Foundation of Huntington County administers this scholarship.

Cathy Abbitt was a third grade teacher at Jefferson Elementary School. She was mother to two sons, Nathan and Matthew, and daughter, Amy. After Catherine's battle with cancer ended, her friends and family made gifts in her memory to establish this fund to help Jefferson Elementary School alumni pursue their college dreams.
