The Tuition and Fee Exemption for Children and Spouses of Public Safety Officers provides up to 100% of tuition and regularly assessed fees for up to 124 semester credit-hours at Indiana public colleges and universities at the undergraduate resident tuition rate. The maximum amount that an eligible applicant is exempt from paying for a semester hour is an amount equal to the cost of an undergraduate semester credit hour at the state educational institution in which the eligible applicant enrolls.

EARN Indiana

EARN (Employment Aid Readiness Network) Indiana is the state's work-study program. Students with financial need have access to resume-building, experiential, paid internships, while employers receive state matching funds—50% of the student's hourly rate—for hiring these students. EARN Indiana has partnered with Work and Learn Indiana to better match students and employers, and to assist employers in finding the perfect fit for their team.

Goldstein Family Scholarship Program

The goal of the Goldstein Family Scholarship Program is to help female survivors of domestic violence improve their self-sufficiency and quality of life by completing higher education. The scholarship fund provides financial support for tuition, books, rent, utilities, and childcare. Support is provided based on the applicant's financial need after using all other available community resources. Scholarship recipients also receive case management services from YWCA's Empowerment Advocate to assist them through their academic journey. Financial support & case management services are provided to scholarship recipients for up to 4 years. Rolling deadlines for submission of applications and all supplemental materials will be January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st. Applicants will be reviewed and evaluated after each deadline.

National Guard Tuition Supplement Grant

Through a partnership with the Indiana National Guard, the Commission guarantees 100% of tuition and regularly assessed fees for eligible members of the Indiana Air and Army National Guard. Students can attend either full-time or part-time and receive the National Guard Tuition Supplement Grant (NGSG) but can only be used in the fall and spring semesters. Student interested in applying for the Indiana National Guard, or students with questions regarding eligibility and certification, should contact their unit commander.

Workforce Ready Grant

The Next Level Jobs Workforce Ready Grant pays the tuition and mandatory fees for eligible high-value certificate programs at Ivy Tech Community College, Vincennes University, Indiana Institute of Technology, or other approved providers. The grant is available for two (2) years and covers up to the number of credits required by the qualifying program. The grant does not cover courses that do not directly apply to the student’s certificate program. Program-specific fees and equipment are not covered.

Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne

The Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne is proud to help hundreds of area students, from elementary through graduate level, fund their educational dreams and go on to successful careers. Scholarship application deadlines vary from one school to another. In general, the deadlines are from January to May. All of the scholarships listed (with a few exceptions) require the applicant to be a resident of Allen County, Indiana.

Adams County Community Foundation

The Adams County Community Foundation (ACCF) awards around 400 scholarships annually to Adams County, Indiana residents of all ages for tuition, fees, books, and professional materials (as required / listed on the student’s syllabus). Traditional students (current high school students), OnTrack Students (students out of high school 1-5 years) and Nontraditional students (out of high school 5+ years) are encouraged to contact the ACCF to learn about scholarship opportunities. With four scholarship cycles, due dates vary. Details are listed on the ACCF website: AdamsCountyFoundation.org

Traditional students: Non-Adams County students attending an Adams County high school are also eligible to apply.

Community Foundation of DeKalb County

Community Foundation DeKalb County awards scholarships each year thanks to the generosity of donors who understand that education is important for a rewarding and successful life. Most Community Foundation scholarships support full-time undergraduate study toward a Bachelor’s degree for a current-year high school graduate. A limited number of scholarships are available for work toward an Associate or technical degree. The scholarship application is open from December 1st to January 31st.

Questa Education Foundation, in partnership with Cameron Health, is offering a fully forgivable loan to support healthcare students with college expenses and connect them with career opportunities at Cameron Health. Students will be eligible for up to $5,000 a year for two years in loan funding that can be 100% forgiven when students graduate and accept employment at Cameron Health. Students will be eligible to receive $5,000 in debt forgiveness for each year of employment at Cameron Health. Application is open year-round. Funding is limited and not guaranteed. Questa Orthopaedics Northeast (ONE) Scholars Program

Questa Education Foundation, in partnership with ONE, is offering a fully forgivable loan for students pursuing careers as Certified Medical Assistants (CCMAs/CMAs) who plan to work at ONE for at least three years after graduation. Scholars are eligible to receive up to $5,000 a year for up to two years in loan funding. Loans are 100% forgiven after three years of successful employment at ONE.

Questa Parkview Candidate Scholars Program

The Parkview Candidate Scholars program is for students within one year or less of completing their certificate or degree who plan to work in the Parkview Health network for at least one year after graduation. Eligible fields of study include CNA, CMA, Phlebotomy Technician, Respiratory Therapy, Pharm Technician, Registered Medical Assisting, Nursing, Surgical Technology, Radiography, Sonography, and Medical/Clinical Lab. Funding will vary by program level.

Funding by Program Level:

Certificate Level (<1 year) — $1,000

Technical Certificate/Licensure Level (=>1 year) — $2,500

Associate/Bachelor Level (2-4 years) — $5,000

Questa Parkview Coworker Assistance Program

The Questa Parkview Coworker Assistance program provides funding to eligible Parkview co-workers for financial assistance to further their education and to help coworkers complete their education with reduced or eliminated debt. The program is available for applicants pursuing degrees identified as Parkview organization critical, and applicants must apply for and be pre-approved in the Parkview Tuition Assistance program to apply.

Questa Brotherhood Mutual Internship Program

Questa Education Foundation, in partnership with Brotherhood Mutual, is offering an internship at Brotherhood Mutual and up to $5,000 a year in low-interest, forgivable loan dollars for college juniors and seniors. Students may receive up to 100% loan forgiveness upon graduation, while living in the region and working at Brotherhood Mutual for up to two years. Students pursuing undergraduate degrees in accounting, business, construction management, criminal justice, finance, technology, marketing, actuarial science, or health sciences are encouraged to apply. Application is open year-round. Funding is limited and not guaranteed.

Questa AWS Special Education Scholars Program

The AWS Special Education Scholars Program is for individuals pursuing a certification, licensure and/or degree in special education. Preference given to juniors or seniors in college or those completing their certification or licensure. Scholars are eligible to receive up to $5,000 per year. This forgivable loan can be up to 100% forgiven if a graduate lives in Northeast Indiana and works in special education in Northeast Indiana public schools for five years upon graduation
