Description

Josh was a very intelligent young farmer who had a deep passion for row crop agriculture as well as raising beef cattle. He utilized progressive techniques along with gleaning wisdom from his father to help develop a business that would be sustainable for years to come. He set a precedent for young people involved in agriculture to pursue their passion and to do so with grit and heart alike. The purpose of this scholarship is to allow assistance to young people working to develop a foundation to build a legacy for years to come.

Requirements:
  • Must be pursing an agriculture college degree or enrolled in a trade/vocational school pursuing agriculture
  • Current or past 4-H Member
  • Must submit a letter of recommendation (unrelated/nonfamily)
  • Previous applicants can reapply
  • Application open to all states
