To be eligible for consideration, applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Accepted as an incoming freshman at Ball State University
- Resident of/high school senior at a school in one of the following Northeastern Indiana counties: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Noble, Wells, and Whitley.
- Preference will be given to those with financial need, as demonstrated by completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Money awarded should be used for expenses such as tuition, room and board, or books.
