Description

The Nicho Becerra Memorial Scholarship was established in 2021 to provide opportunities for active-duty members, veterans, and their families through a generous benefactor to honor a son, brother, and best friend Nichodemous Ramon Becerra who graced this earth for 29 years.

Nicho (Nich) graduated from Bellmont High School in 2008 and went on to proudly serve in the United States Air Force. After his military career, his curiosity of medicine and his love of helping people brought him into the healthcare industry as a medical technician at Parkview Hospital. He always surrounded himself by his family and a great group of friends that he held as close as family and who continue to remember him by his humor, eclectic taste in music, and love of craft beers.

Through this scholarship, Nicho's love of education, knowledge, and helping those in need will continue in Northeast Indiana.
This Scholarship is for active duty service members, veterans, spouse of a veteran or active duty service member, or legal dependent of a veteran or active service member, honorably discharged or medically discharged.
