CFWabash Dan Haupert Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship memorializes Dan Haupert who was tragically killed in a grain silo accident in January 2020. To honor Dan’s work ethic and passion for farming, Roxanne and their children, Ryan, Tara, and Lisa, created the Dan Haupert Memorial Scholarship for a Northfield High School senior. Recipients of the scholarship will have been involved with the Future Farmers of America during high school and will have plans to pursue a career in agriculture or a related field. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Wabash County.

Eligibility Requirements

• Northfield High School graduate (current year)
• Participation in Future Farmers of America (FFA) for at least one year of high school
• High School GPA of at least 2.3 on a 4.0 scale
• An essay highlighting lessons on hard work and leadership the applicant has learned from FFA and how the lessons will shape a future career in agriculture.
