CFWabash Chris Rood Memorial Baseball Fund

Chris Rood taught US History at Wabash High School and coached baseball from 1971-1994, building a top notch baseball program for the school. The culmination of his career came in 1986 when he took an unranked team to the state championship. When he died suddenly, Chris’s sister, Lisa Collier, established a scholarship in his name to provide financial assistance for varsity baseball players who are current year graduates of Wabash High School and residents of the City of Wabash. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Wabash County.

Eligibility Requirements

• Wabash High School graduate (current year)
• Resident of the City of Wabash
• Member of the Wabash High School baseball team
