CFWabash Casey Sparling Memorial Athletic Scholarship

In school, Casey Sparling was a hard working student, a three-sport athlete, and a guy with a terrific attitude. He was also ambitious. While still in college, he helped coach his beloved Northfield baseball team. At the time of his death, his friends and family established a scholarship in his memory that would encourage students just like Casey to go to college. The recipient will have a commitment to sports similar to Casey’s; be a two or more sport athlete in high school graduating from NHS in the current year. The recipient will also have a positive attitude and reputation as a team player on and off the field. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Wabash County.

Eligibility Requirements

• Northfield High School graduate (current year)
• Accepted to a four-ear college or a two-year program of advanced study or training
• Good standing in the school and community
