Description

Dallas Winchester was a well-respected public servant. He was employed by the Town of Milford as the Street Superintendent for many years before he passed away from malignant melanoma. Dallas was the President of the Wawasee School Board for multiple terms. He had a deep appreciation for the vocational and technical programs at the high school. Wawasee seniors pursuing vocational or technical training after high school receive preference for scholarships from this fund.

 Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:

  • Graduating senior of Wawasee High School
  • Pursuing vocational/technical training

 Reviewers will consider the following when selecting a recipient:

  • Love for community as evidenced by involvement in community service

This scholarship is administered by the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
