Description

The Cole Graduate Scholars Program is designed to support the advanced educational journeys of two outstanding graduate students: one pursuing a graduate degree in education and one pursuing a Doctor of Medicine.

Through generous funding from the Cole Foundation, this program provides forgivable loans to help with their financial gap. Scholars may be eligible to receive 50% of their loan forgiven when they live and work in Northeast Indiana for five years following graduation.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Pursuit of a graduate degree to qualify for teaching dual credit classes OR pursuit of a Doctor of Medicine degree
  • Resident of DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble, or Steuben County
  • Accepted into an accredited graduate or professional program in the designated fields
  • Intent to live and work in Northeast Indiana upon graduation
  • Completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
