Description

This fund was established by local agricultural entrepreneurs, Larry and Shirley Polk, to provide scholarships to students who are pursuing post-secondary education in an agricultural field.

 Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:

  • Kosciusko County resident
  • Graduate of a high school or authorized program serving Kosciusko County residents
  • Field of Study: Agriculture or Veterinary/Animal Science
  • GPA: “C” average or above

 Reviewers will consider the following when selecting a recipient:

  • Demonstrated successful ability in classroom
  • Demonstrated work ethic and positive attitude
  • Participation in a community service, youth-leadership, or faith-based service such as 4-H, FFA or scouting

This scholarship is administered by the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.

Fields of Study:
Pre-Veterinary Studies, Veterinary/Animal Health Technology/Technician and Veterinary Assistant, Pre-Pharmacy Studies
