Description

This fund was created by Dr. Samuel Murphy to assist worthy and ambitious students in their need for higher education. Dr. Murphy practiced medicine in Claypool, moving his practice to Warsaw in 1914. He acquired a reputation as an outstanding physician and as a citizen concerned with civic welfare.

 Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:

  • Kosciusko County resident
  • Demonstrates financial need

This scholarship is administered by the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
