Description

Established with a donation from the Kosciusko Community Hospital medical staff to provide scholarships to Kosciusko County students pursuing a two-year, four-year or graduate degree in a medical field of study related to direct patient care.

 Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:

  • Kosciusko County residents OR Graduating seniors of a high school in Kosciusko County
  • Field of Study: Health
  • GPA: “B” average or above

 Reviewers will consider the following when selecting a recipient:

  • Intention to pursue a medical field of study that involves direct patient care*
  • Demonstrated community engagement through volunteer activities, solid work history or extra-curricular activities

*Applicants must provide an additional essay response explaining why they are interested in a career in the medical field.

 This scholarship is administered by the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
