Description

This scholarship fund was created by family and friends of William Farrar in his memory. Mr. Farrar served as a principal in the Warsaw school system. His love of learning will live on through this fund in his name.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:

  • Graduate of a high school serving Kosciusko County
  • Attended Madison Elementary School for at least 3 years

Reviewers will consider the following when selecting a recipient:

  • Ability to overcome personal or family challenges*
  • Academic performance indicative of success (high academic performance is not a criterion for selection)

Preference may be given to:

  • Those pursuing the field of education

*Applicants must answer an additional essay question.

This scholarship is administered by the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
