KCCF Camelot Scholarship

This fund was created by the Shoop Sports and Youth Foundation in memory of their founder, J. Homer Shoop, to provide scholarships to graduates from Wawasee, Whitko or Warsaw High Schools. Mr. Shoop was a prominent banker in North Webster and was the founder of the International Palace of Sports, which promoted sports and tourism in the North Webster community from 1974-1989.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:

• Graduate of Wawasee High School, Whitko High School or Warsaw Community high School
• GPA: 2.9 or higher on a 4-point scale (or its equivalent)
• Demonstrates financial need

Reviewers will consider the following when selecting a recipient:

• Demonstrated work ethic
• Participation in community service through church, service or youth group

This scholarship is administered by the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
