Description

This fund was established by Thomas A. and Janet S. Tucker and Judy E. Bowerman in memory of their parents, Everett and Fern Besson. This scholarship provides financial assistance to deserving students who are pursuing post-secondary education in an area related to agriculture.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:

  • Kosciusko County resident
  • Graduate of a high school or homeschool program serving Kosciusko County residents (excludes GED)
  • Field of Study: Agriculture or Veterinary/Animal Science
  • GPA: 3.7 or higher on a 4-point scale (or its equivalent)
  • Active church membership
  • Participation in a community or youth-oriented service program such as 4-H, FFA, or scouting

Reviewers will consider the following when selecting a recipient:

  • Demonstrated work ethic and positive attitude

This scholarship is administered by the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
