Description

This fund was created through a trust established by Max and Kathryn Beigh as part of their estate planning. Max grew up in Claypool. He and Kathryn moved to Anderson, Indiana after graduating from Manchester College and getting married. They both spent many years teaching. The scholarship will help members of the Claypool United Methodist Church attain an education beyond high school.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this scholarship:

  • Members of Claypool United Methodist Church
    • Church “membership” is defined and verified by church trustees

Reviewers will consider the following when selecting a recipient:

  • No additional criteria specified so applicants will be evaluated on overall strength of application

This scholarship is administered by the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
