In August of 1997, Richard and Connie Herr, in loving memory of their daughter, established the Sheri Herr Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship assists worthy students with roots in Wells County in their pursuit of a higher education. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of Huntington County.
