CFDC Master Trooper James R. Bailey Memorial Scholarship

Established in 2023 to honor the service and dedication of Master Trooper James R. Bailey. Trooper Bailey was a graduate of Garrett High School and became an Indiana State Trooper in 2007. During his tenure as a State Trooper, he received the Life Saving Award in 2010, Trooper of the Year for District 22 in 2012, and the combat "Action Award" in 2021. End of Watch 3/3/2023. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of DeKalb County. The application is open December 1st through January 31st.
