Established in 2023 by a man loved and cherished by many people. Verlyn resided in Ashley and chose to create the scholarship, which will make educational awards annually as a lasting tribute to his generosity. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of DeKalb County. The application is open December 1st through January 31st.
