Established in September 2016. Derek was a junior at DeKalb High School where he was a member of the football and wrestling teams. He loved watching football, especially his favorite team the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed helping coach middle school football and time spent with his Baron Football family. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of DeKalb County. The application is open December 1st through January 31st.
