This fund was transferred from the Auburn Foundation, Inc. to the Community Foundation in December 2002. Lynn Holsinger taught mathematics to seventh and eighth graders at Auburn Junior High School. His wife, Josephine, taught first and second grades at DeSoto Elementary School in east Auburn. They established a scholarship to share their love of education. This scholarship is administered by the Community Foundation of DeKalb County. The application is open December 1st through January 31st.
